CBH’s Guide to Completing a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) Referral

This practical webinar teaches CBH provider staff how to complete and submit psychiatric rehabilitation services (PRS) referrals for review. A brief overview of PRS, eligibility criteria, and information needed to complete a PRS referral will be provided. Participants will also learn common mistakes that lead to “insufficient” referrals, actions to take to avoid them, and tips to reduce turnaround time and improve authorization outcomes.

• Identify who is appropriate for PRS and list the steps needed to submit a PRS referral to CBH.
• Describe the specific information required for each section of the PRS referral form.
• Explain at least three common reasons referrals would be marked insufficient.
