CBH Executive Staff Members Nominated For 2021 Greater Philadelphia Innovation Awards
CBH Chief Operating Officer Donna E.M. Bailey and Interim Chief Medical Officer Dr. Chris Tjoa have been nominated for the 2021 Greater Philadelphia Innovation Awards. The Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Awards honors Philadelphia’s most passionate social innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers whose work and social impact helps local communities thrive. The theme of the 2021 awards, “Achieving a More Just Society,” recognizes organic leadership re-envisioning the challenges communities face and finding solutions by innovating ideas to reshape communities through programs, policies and disrupting the political landscape to achieve equity and inclusion.
“Donna and Chris are both leaders that lead by example. They inspire others through their dedication to meeting the needs of Philadelphians with creative solutions. Both are completely deserving of this nomination,” said CEO Dr. Faith Dyson-Washington.
Bailey is nominated under Community Behavioral Health in the Innovations in Human Services category and Tjoa under Healthy Communities in the Innovations in Healthy Living category.
Voting is open to the public and available online at the Greater Philadelphia Social Innovations Awards website. Voting for the Healthy Living category ends on Sunday, December 13, and voting for the Human Services category will open Monday, December 14, and close Sunday, December 20.
Winners will be announced at the virtual award ceremony on Thursday, January 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Ticket prices to attend range from $10 to $100 and can be purchased here.
