What Are The Benefits of Telehealth?

Telehealth makes it easier to see specialty providers, have regular visits, and make changes from in-person to virtual visits when something unexpected comes up. Providers are strongly encouraged to offer both in-person and telehealth services.

When Can I Use Telehealth?

It is recommended that you discuss with your provider whether telehealth is offered. our provider will tell you what services are in person and what services could be telehealth. The appropriateness of telehealth services may vary over the course of treatment. Members and practitioners must discuss the possibility of service delivery changes.

How Can I Prepare For a Telehealth Visit?

You will need a phone, tablet, or computer with internet access. You will need a device with a camera and microphone for video visits. Your Wi-Fi should be connected to a secure, private network. Charge your device or keep it plugged in. Check-in with your provider to see what application and software you may need. Have a private space where you can talk freely and free of distractions.
