Guided by Aaron Beck’s cognitive model, Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) is an evidence-based practice that provides concrete, actionable steps to promote recovery and resiliency for individuals experiencing extensive behavioral, social, and physical health challenges. CT-R is highly collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based, and specifically tailored for those who have a history of feeling disconnected and distrustful of service providers.
In this free virtual training, we will discuss developing new strategies to get started and successfully connect with members who may not seem interested in meeting with you or your team. We will spend time thinking about why they might be hesitant to work with you and will brainstorm interventions to meet them where they are today, and, ultimately, to develop a powerful collaboration to overcome challenges that get in the way of their desires for the future.
