This training provides participants with an overview of motivational interviewing as a counseling framework for behavioral change. Participants will learn foundational principles and values of motivational interviewing, core person-centered counseling skills crucial to the framework, and practice recognizing and responding to language of change through role playin small groups.

This free event is open to all CBH providers who offer Acute Inpatient Psychiatric (AIP) Services and Outpatient (OP) Mental Health Services and are involved in care transitions.
