SUMMARY:Understanding and Using Performance Data for Quality Improvement
DESCRIPTION:As health and human services systems shift increasingly toward value-based payment models\, providers need to understand not only how their payers are evaluating them for these models\, but also what strategies they can implement to achieve the outcomes payers seek and demonstrate their value to them. In this training\, Susanna Kramer\, Director of Performance Evaluation\, and Kelvin Lu\, Population Health Pharmacist\, will share practical strategies that providers can implement to: \n\nBecome a metrics-focused and data-driven organization\nUse the “Plan-Do-Study-Act” methodology to improve their processes and performance\nUnderstand the link between improved performance and increased revenue\n\nThis training is appropriate for any provider who is involved in process\, quality\, or outcomes improvement.
