CBH and DBHIDS utilize procurements, in the form of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Qualifications (RFQs), to acquire new services or add providers to the CBH network. Requests for relocation of existing services may be submitted in writing to the DBHIDS Executive Leadership for consideration outside of the competitive bidding process. CBH’s Network Development Department is the single point of contact on activities related to resource development and support. Click here to learn more about CBH’s Network Development Department.
The only guaranteed method of notice for CBH-related procurements is the CBH website. Click here for a current listing of CBH contracting opportunities. Such opportunities are often sent out via “CBH News” email updates, thus it is also recommended that anyone seeking updates follow the procedure in response to question number 3 below, to sign up for “CBH News” email updates.
All new providers/programs to the CBH network must complete the initial credentialing process. Upon completion of contract negotiations, providers/programs receive an initial credentialing visit by the Network Development Department. The initial credentialing visit may include: a review of staff files, facility tour, review of written policies and procedures, and review of clinical records. Additionally, various business documents must be submitted for review. A comprehensive list of these documents can be found in the CBH Provider Manual.
