EPIC was highlighted as an innovative leader in the field of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) implementation and system integration at the Coalition for the Application and Advancement of Psychological Science (CAAPS) Summit, which took place on October 21 to 22, 2019. The two-day summit held at the American Psychological Association (APA) in Washington, DC, was used as an opportunity to increase the understanding of different conceptualizations of EBP approaches when working with diverse, underserved populations and to provide examples of successful models in the field.

EPIC Director Carrie Comeau was featured on a panel facilitated by former DBHIDS Commissioner Arthur C. Evans, APA CEO, which included representatives from the University of Pennsylvania EBP Collaborative and Center for Mental Health, the Beck Institute, Impact Reach Consulting, and CCTC.
